Mike Mullenberg
Since 1975, as owner of a small Midwest sailboat shop, Mike’s passion for the sailboat business has never ceased. His industry experience spans generations of sailboat and windsurfing manufacturers from the 80’s and 90’s including Catalina, Hunter, Beneteau, S2 Yachts, Tartan, O’day, Sail MFG, Precision, Spindrift, Compac, Hobie Cat, Holder, Pt. Jude, Boston Whaler/Supercat, AMF Alcort, AMF Trac catamarans, NACRA, Laser, Johnson Scows, Melges Scows, Banshee, Byte, Windsurfer, Mistral, F2, Fanatic. In the early years, Mike did it all. Hands on experience included sales, rigging, installing electronics, FG and rigging repairs, bottom painting, trailer maintenance and deliveries. Fast forward 20 years, Mike moved to Anacortes in 2011 to accept a yacht brokerage position with the Jeanneau dealer and boatyard. Following 6 years of developing a strong customer following, Mike’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch Pacific Cruising Yachts in 2017. With the extensive hands-on experience from owning and operating his own boatyard in the 90’s, Mike believed his company could offer a higher level of product specialty knowledge to sailing customers. To expand on this business model, Pacific Cruising Yachts now hires only Broker Specialists to join the company. The company believes a broker who focuses on a single category of boat style, rather than a do-it-all generalist broker, will provide a better solution for their boat seller and buyer clients. The company roster includes Broker Specialists for sailboats, multihulls, and trawlers with a soon to be added saltwater fishing specialist. Our commitment to customers provides educated and experienced broker specialists who know their product niche well.
